I’d bought an oak floating radiator shelf but I was concerned that the simple fixings just weren’t going to line up easily, especially as my 30s walls seem to have variable material under the plaster. So this was a last minute fix. The brackets screw to the underside of the shelf and you then fix the pivoting bracket with the pin and spacers provided- just needs a flat blade and a cross blade screwdriver. It slots between the radiator and the wall with a little whack to level it. I just set it on the default height and I will see if it needs raising when winter sets in. Very happy.
